Progress on the long awaited Watercourse in Daybreak!

In March of 2020, Destination Homes had just opened a new model home along Prosperity Way in South Jordan's Daybreak; a home that would face the Watercourse. While Daybreak's initial villages would get to surround a lake, the homes in the Highland Park and Cascade Village areas would have a new kind of water feature. The Watercourse concept is an exciting new take on water recreation within a planned community as well as brilliantly sustainable solution for water conservation. From the front porch of this new model home we were very eager to see this watercourse take shape. We'd even scheduled a videographer to come record video of the area and we planned to broadcast our excitement and the details of this feature on all our social channels.

Then then pandemic got real and our plans, along with so much in everyone's lives, came to a halt.

2 1/2 years later, through all sorts of thick and thin, progress along the watercourse is getting attention. Water began flowing over the summer and an expectation of a summer 2023 opening has been set. It's possible that Santa might be delivering a few additional paddle boards to kids in these new Daybreak Villages.  Read more about what's happening with the Watercourse from Daybreak's perspective.
